Since almost four years now I have been living in The Philippines. 'It's more fun in the Philippines' says the much used tourism slogan. In many regards that is absolutely true. Daily reality has more nuances. I changed the title of my blog from 'Thoughts and Musings' into 'Mail from Manila'. From now on I will try to shed some light on situations and events here in the Philippines and -whenever I can't help myself- in other places on our globe.
